Chennai, 5th April 2016 : Chennai-based BeWo Technologies announced formal launch of their IT-enabled, retail service delivery and support system (BeWo Genie POS) to help the unorganized retail trade come on par with organized trade. The system has already been introduced to FMCG majors to enormous interest. BeWo was originally incubated by Qualcomm (San Diego, California) has evoked enthusiastic response among prospective investors, some of them from established business families and investing in their individual capacities. BeWo Genie offers participating retailers and grocers, a comprehensive solution to efficiently manage their business and potentially higher sales and revenue. In addition to the innovative In-Store Advertising, FMCGs can also perform more effective last-mile marketing activities and promotions. Retailer transaction billing data are made available to the partners, who find this critical, and unavailable from any other source. A compelling element is the immediacy of altering customer decisions at the point of sale. The eco-system partners have included several regional, national and global FMCG players. Android PoS including integrated printer, barcode scanner, 3G and UPS.The key advantages are namely, comprehensive PoS Application including billing, inventory and promotions, cloud-based dashboard for account management and controls, in-Store Advertising and dynamic advertising channel, low cost of ownership and increased brand value and sale.
