World Environment Day at Guindy Park

Chennai District Environmental Information Dissemination Centre(EIDC) organised a Wild Walk in to Guindy National Park,Guindy as a part of World Environment Day Celebrations2016 under the leader ship of G.Thangaraj, Dist coordinator,NGC with 30 children and volunteers. Mr.Basker Biologist explained the history of the forest, animals and their habitate, birds and the seasons of the forests etc. The Team was coordinated by Mrs.Akila and Mr.Vishwa..All the participants were given Saplings by WILLAGE Vishwa for the plantations in their nearby areas.
