A green and grand welcome

Valliammal College for Women, Anna Nagar East had a grand welcome for fresher’s on 29th June, 2016. The students had an inspiring orientation programme. An interesting PowerPoint presentation was put on to display where enlightening pictures about the various extra-curricular and co-curricular activities and programmes that were held in the college. The Principal of the College Dr. T.V.S Padmaja, while welcoming the students, briefed them about the norms and discipline of the college.

Finally, the students were given saplings by the Principal and as part of an awareness campaign to promote greenery.Mr. Mullaivanam of Abdul Kalam Pasumai Thittam, Tree Bank had graced the occasion and distributed free saplings to the college students.
