The student council Investiture of Valliammal College for Women, Anna Nagar East, Chennai was held on 16th July 2016 in the college auditorium. Dr. S. Murugesan, Principal of ThiruthangalNadar College and Member Syndicate, University of Madras was the Chief Guest. He administered the Oath of Office to the newly elected office bearers.
He advised the members of the student council and other student community gathered to develop leadership qualities. The college Principal Dr. T.V.S Padmaja was present on the occasion. The President of the college, Ms. Megha, along with her crew of other 64 council members assured that they would maintain the discipline, dignity and decorum of the college.
