ITM Chennai Open Doors to the Young Batch of PGDM

ITM Business School, Chennai had recently inaugurated its new batch of full time PGDM programme. It began with a procession piloted by registrar Prof P V Jaikumar followed by the new batch of students. Campus Head of ITM Chennai, Dr Prasanna Sivanandam welcomed the gathering. The event was inaugurated by Mr. Karthic Venkatesan, Talent Group’s Head – Group M Media India Pvt. Ltd. Chennai, an alumni of ITM Chennai.The inauguration was followed by the induction programme, to make the students understand about the institution and the faculty members. The Faculties gave students basic insights of the management domain at ITM Business School which is designed to inculcate the skills of entrepreneurship and business management. The course offers challenging curriculum focused beyond global strategic thinking and analysis.The inaugural session was followed by an icebreaking session by Prof Sathya Saminadan and Prof Achu Sam K. Various games and activities were held to make the students to come out of their inhibitions and helping them to get to know each other better. The second day’s programme was started with a motivational & inspirational talk by Ms. Divya, an alumni of ITM, She shared her experience with top corporate houses . She advised students to possess the passion, ability to unlearn and relearn, have the right focus and attitude in order to successfully cover the curriculum. She also provided fresh insights on choosing the streams and career, besides calling for a comprehensive understanding of problems prior to a decision-making.
