ICWO launches free referral services for senior citizens well-being

For senior citizens care with dedicated attention in need of nursing services, and affection gets them back there's help at hand. The Indian Community Welfare Organisation (ICWO) recently launched free referral services for the elderly in the city in need of physiotherapy, attendee and nursing services. A.J.Hariharan, Founder Secretary, ICWO told that competent personnel will be sent to the residences of senior citizens who need home care nursing, oxygen cylinder, wheel chair, walker, suction machine and air bed, as well as for physiotherapy treatment.
ICWO maintains good rapport with doctors, pharmaceuticals and hospitals, and correct referrals will be provided to those seeking the services. 

The initiative is primarily aimed at helping the elderly who have undergone surgery and are living along.  We have tied up with agencies that train staff on nursing, physiotherapy; dialysis and conducting BP, sugar and ECG tests many elderly people aged 75 and above who are widowed or whose kids live abroad, can greatly benefit from these services, “Says A.J.Hariharan, Founder Secretary, ICWO.The staffs are also trained to take elderly patients for regular check-ups, cook and wash of them, and help them with their medication. “For those with a prior medical history, the staff thoroughly study and strengthen their routine of medications, doctor’s visits and diet” said Hariharan, adding that plans are on to provide emergency care services too.“We’ve seen that quality care with dedicated attention and affection gets them back on their feet a lot faster.
