The chief guest Thiru.G.Prakash, I.A.S, Commissioner, Greater Chennai Corporation flagged off an awareness campaign. During the campaign, Mr. Shridhar, I.A.S, R.D.C Central, Mr. Arun Thumburaj, I.A.S, Field Support Officer, Mr. Narayanan, Zonal Officer 6, Mr. Nachar, EE Zone 6 and Madam Uma Ravikumar, Lead Consultant, CIP, COVID 19 participated in the function.
The campaign utilized local Chennai gana songs skills. As soon as the catchy awareness song was performed by Gana Edwin, the public gave a keen listening to the song and its message explaining the safety tips to prevent COVID – 19. Moreover super heroes like Batman and Superman created safety awareness by distributing masks to the public.

The function organizers ensured social distancing and many residents witnessed the awareness function standing in front of their home, terrace and balconies. The public appreciated the campaign and gave a positive feedback. ICWO Founder-General Secretary A.J.Hariharan thanked the Greater Chennai Corporation officials and public for making the event an effective one.
