COVID-19 Awareness on Face Mask usage at Anna Nagar


 ICWO-Indian Community Welfare Organisation along with Greater Chennai Police of K4 Anna Nagar Police Station and Greater Chennai Corporation, Zone-8 organized COVID-19 Awareness Program on Face Mask usage among general public at Anna Nagar Rountana, Chennai on 3rd February 2021, 11:00a.m to 01:00p.m and 04:00p.m to 06:00p.m.

ICWO had distributed free Face Mask high quality N95 Mask to the general public, who were not wearing the face mask. The free mask distributed after they take oath that always use the face mask and share this information with their friends, relative and colleagues.

Mr.S.Sakthivel, Inspector (Traffic), K4 Anna Nagar Police Station, Mr.N.K.Kaladharan, S.I. (Traffic), K4 Anna Nagar Police Station, Mr.M.Kumar, S.I. (Traffic), K4 Anna Nagar Police Station, Mr.K.Dhanasekaran, S.I. (Traffic), K4 Anna Nagar Police Station, Mr.R.Saravanan, Head Constable, K4 Anna Nagar Police Station, Mr.Venkatesan, Inspector (Law & Order),  K4 Anna Nagar Police Station, Mr.Gopi, Sub Inspector (Law & Order), K4 Anna Nagar Police Station  actively participated and extended their kind support. Mr.Mercury Sathya, Movie and Teleserial Actor participated in the program and gave away the face mask to the general public.


Speaking on the occasion Mr.A.J.Hariharan, Secretary, ICWO said we are pleased to know the positive response and appreciation we received from general public for this campaign. During this campaign 2000 N95 high quality face mask distributed to the general public and 500 face mask for Law & Order Police, K4 Anna Nagar Police Station and 500 face mask for Traffic Police, K4 Anna Nagar Police Station awarded. The high quality N-95 Masks donated by Dr.Joseph William, Director Project, Project Division, V.H.S - Voluntary Health Service, Chennai and Aravind Pvt. Ltd, Gujarat, under CSR project support.
