Annual Sports Day of Valliammal College

Valliammal College for Women, Anna Nagar East conducted its 28th Sports Day Celebration on 6^th February 2016 in the college premises. The College Principal Dr.T.V.S.Padmaja welcomed the gathering. The day's events started off with chief guest, Dr.C.Sylendra Babu, I.P.S Additional Director General of Police, Coastal Service Group, Tamil Nadu declaring the Sports meet open. Dr.C.Sylendra Babu appreciated the excellent march past done by the students by stating it was just like a Police march past. He also made his address very active and interesting by calling and interacting  with few students on stage about the important benefits for sports and games. His golden words of wisdom to all the students were to be Happy and cultivate good habits of thanking and appreciating people in life. He further motivated the students to be loyal, courageous and to maintain their self-esteem at every juncture in life.
