Alpha Arts and Science College celebrated Freshers’ Orientation Programme

Alpha Arts and Science College celebrated the Freshers’ Orientation Programme on the 4th of July 2016, with great enthusiasm and zest. The open auditorium was packed with the 1st year students who eagerly waited for the chief guest to arrive. The Chief Guest, Rev. Dr. Samuel Sudhakar, Correspondent of Christ Church Anglo Indian School.He is a follower of Rev. Dr.John Joseph, who had founded Christ for Soul Ministries. The programme was graced by Dr. (Mrs.) Grace George, the Chairperson, Ms.Hannah, D/o Mrs. Suja George, the Vice-Chairperson of Alpha Arts and Science College and Dr. (Mrs.) Ashalatha, the Principal of the college. The dynamic Principal of the College, Dr. Ashalatha spoke about the vision that they should have for their commitment towards education. This was followed by honoring the guest Rev.Dr.J.Samuel Sudhakar by Dr. Mrs. Grace George. Dr Mrs. Grace George, the Chairperson, Alpha Group of Institutions, delivered her presidential address. Speaking to the young starters she introduced the vision and mission of the college. She promised excellent educational service that would be rendered by Alpha which is obtained by the hardwork, constant prayers of the management and the faculty of Alpha. She also highlighted Dr. Abdul Kalam’s quotes’ “NEVER GIVE UP”.This was followed by Address of the Chief Guest. Addressing the gathering Rev. Dr. J. Samuel Sudhakar blessed the young and energetic Freshers’fresh minds to be positive and believe in GOD that may give them the power to involve and focus in their studies with heart, mind and soul to bring laurels to the institution. In a nut shell, the Chief Guest emphasized on the discipline and hard work expected from the students along with the constant support of the management and Principal in grooming the campus to march forward, to success. The programme came to a close with the closing prayer and Benediction by Rev.Dr.J.Samuel Sudhakar.
