29th Annual Sports Day

Valliammal College for Women, Anna Nagar East, conducted its 29th Annual Sports Day on 28th January 2017 in the college premises. The sports day started with the conventional flag hoisting done by the Chief Guest, Ms.C.A.Bhavani, popular Indian Fencer. Ms.C.A.Bhavani gave a motivational talk to the students with the flurry of real life illustrations and advised the students to stand firm on their dreams and to never give up. It was followed by the cultural programmes where the students exhibited their talents through yoga and pyramid formations. Prizes were given to the students for their excellence in sports. The function was graced by the College Chairman Thiru A.P.Maikandan and College Principal Dr.T.V.S.Padmaja.
