The Department of Life sciences Valliammal College for Women organised a one-day National Level Seminar "Biopharms 2K16 - Natural Drug Discovery and Development, Current Status and Future Propects" on 07-01-2017. The chief guest Mr. Ankur Bhatnagar, Chief Scientific Manager-R&D, Biocon Research Limited, Bengaluru delivered his inaugural address focused on Modern understanding of disease, Fastest growing field in Pharma Industry and Drug Development process. Prof. Dr.V.Banumathi M.D, Director, National Institute of Siddha gave a valedictory address and distributed the prizes to the students for model and poster presentations.
