Indian Community Welfare Organisation (ICWO) launched a program to provide bowl of water to birds during this summer on 21st April 2017 at seven Greater Chennai Corporation crematoriums in Chennai. Birds usually get dehydrated during the summer. Placing the water in the mud bowls in the backyards and on terraces would prevent them from such fatalities. The birds population needs a sustainable environment during the summer. The name of the crematoriums are namely, Velankadu Crematorium -Anna Nagar, Ottery Crematorium, Kannan Colony Crematorium-Alandur, Balakrishnapuram Crematorium –Adambakkam,Kasimedu Crematorium, Brindavan Colony, Valasaravakkam Crematorium and at Thiruvotriyur Crematorium.This efforts were implemented in seven Greater Chennai Corporation Crematorium in Chennai administrated and maintained by ICWO.All the above 7 crematoriums are administrated and well maintained by ICWO said A.J.Hariharan, Founder-Secretary of Indian Community Welfare Organisation.
