Special Programs for Law University Students

The inauguration of Special English Programme applying Neuro-Linguistic Programming  (NLP) techniques was held at Dr. Ambedkar Law University, Chennai, on Monday, October 26th from the English Language Teachers’ Association (ELTAI) with the collaboration of Rotary Club, Chennai North. Dr Sarvani, Head of the Department of English, Dr. Ambedkar University, presided over the function. Dr. Mangaiyarkarasi, Associate Professor, Ethiraj College, the National Coordinator of ELTAI and the Nodal Officer of the programme, welcomed the gathering comprising the first year law students.Prof. John A. Joseph, Editor, Education Monitor, representing ELTAI, briefed the students regarding the benefits.Ms Debbie Westcott. Guest of Honour for the program, is the founder of The Immaculate, Centre for Spoken English and TI Abroad Adyar. She drew the attention of the audience to the importance of English for their success in their professional life. Stressing the value of reading for developing their spoken English skill, Ms Westcott urged the students to read at least a few pages of newspaper, magazine, short story, novel or whatever they would like to read every day.Dr Vanangamudi, Vice Chancellor of the University, showed great interest in the programme and has advised the students to make the best use of this opportunity and to bring out the best in them for their own benefit and the benefit of India at large.For more details contact 2446 2116.
