ICWO/HSF Pilot Project
ICWO welcomes more and more colleges to start up AHTC now!!
Three top colleges in Chennai namely, Annai Annai Violet Arts & Science College, Hindustan College of Arts and Science and Chevalier T. Thomas Elizabeth College for Women have signed a Memorandum of Understanding with Indian Community Welfare Organisation - I.C.W.O for new AHTC to prevent human trafficking.
Speaking on the occasion Mr.A.J.Hariharan, Secretary-ICWO said they are planning to initiate 100 AHTCs in college & institutions in all 38 districts.So far 76 have been initiated till 24th June 2022 in Tamil Nadu.
The AHTCs will create the awareness in the college campus and out in general public with the support of HSF – Hanns-Seidel-Stiftung India.
