Food distributed to cyclone victims


Jaimaa Charitable Trust (Vadapalani) and Rotary Light Up Alumini Club (T. Nagar) jointly distributed total of 500 kg weighing rice to the Vardha Cyclone victims on Jan. 1 at 21st Avenue, Ashok Nagar. The beneficaries are various part of Chennai it includes T.Nagar, West Mambalam, Ashok Nagar, K. K. Nagar, Vadapalani and Kodambakkam collected the rice bags.S. Mahaveer Bothra (President, Rotary Light Up Alumini Club) distributed the aid to victims in presence of Dr. Jhansi Rani (Family Councellor, Palani Balaji Ferltity Center), S. Jayasundari (Jaimaa Charitable Trust) and other eminent personalities. Mahaveera Bothra and Dr. Jhansi Rani gave motivational speech to victims on how to overcome from the stress due to disaster.
Jayasundari said that rice bags being distributed to selected victims following personal visits and those who are lost their belongings during the cyclones. She said that those who are interested to support the trust activities may contact 98842 84348 or jaimaatrust@gmail.com.
