New Honda bikes for Female staffs working at Greater Chennai Corporation Crematoriums

Indian community welfare organization is a non-governmental, non profitable social work organization working for the various issues and developmental projects in special focus with the women and children development in Tamil Nadu for the past 21 years. The chief Guest Honorable Justice Thiru.K.Gnanaprakasam, Former Judge, High Court of Madras flagged off and handed over the keys for 4 two wheeler motor bikes to the female staffs working in Greater Chennai Corporation Velankadu and Otteri Crematoriums administrated by ICWO on 6th January 2017 at a function in Greater Chennai Corporation Velankadu Crematorium, New Avadi Road, Anna Nagar, Chennai. He appreciated the work carried out by ICWO in the crematorium. Dr.M.Baskaran, President, ICWO thanked the chief guest for immense support given by them for ICWO. He also explained the importance of increasing facilities for the staffs for a better performance by ensuring a clean, green and a safe crematorium in Chennai. During the occasion Mr.A.J.Hariharan, Founder Secretary of ICWO, stated that he always remembers Mr.Luc Bergeret from Belgium who has been a long term supporter to ICWO for past 15 years. He had raised lot of grants for ICWO projects specifically for Educational Scholarship for multiple marginalized children in Chennai. Unfortunately he passed away on 23rd March 2016. His last will is to support by proving two wheeler motor bikes for the female staffs working in Greater Chennai Corporation Velankadu and Otteri Crematoriums in Chennai. 
During his funeral on 2nd April 2016 his family and friends raised a contribution to ICWO to fulfill his last wish for provide two wheeler motor bikes for the female staffs working in Greater Chennai Corporation Velankadu and Otteri Crematoriums in Chennai. Through his support ICWO have purchased 4 two wheeler motor bikes (Honda DIO model) and support Educational Scholarship for 175 multiple marginalized children in Chennai.One of the beneficiaries, Ms.Praveena Solomon, Care Taker, Greater Chennai Corporation Velankadu Crematorium thanked and appreciated the good support from Mr.Luc Bergeret family & friends, Village Service Trust, Belgium and ICWO. The two wheeler motor bikes will help us to reach the office in time and also return home safely during the late hours, Praveena added.Another, beneficiarie Ms.Esther Shanthi, Care Taker, Greater Chennai Corporation Otteri Crematorium said she feels happy and blessed to receive this two wheeler motor bike. A bike encourages me to perform better in my work since i struggled a lot during bus travel and it save me a lot of time.
