To Beat The Intense Heat Wave

As part of  ICWO – Abhay Dan Trust initiative 300 chilled water bottles and 400 glasses of buttermilk were distributed free to the public at Asiad Colony, 100 Feet Road, Thirumangalam, Chennai. A total of 1200 buttermilk cups and 900 water bottles were distributed in three days from 1^st to 3^rd June 2024.

“It's our way of helping people get through summer. Buttermilk, apart from quenching thirst, is also good for health,” said A.J.Hariharan, Founder-Secretary of Indian Community Welfare Organisation-ICWO.

Free butter milk and water bottles were served to students, security guards, labours, street vendors, delivery staff, salesmen, homeless people and other visitors who passed by. The beneficiaries felt a great relief from the heat wave while whole-heartily appreciating the noble service which was the need of the hour.
